Sampoorna Hegde

Co-Founder & CIO

Sampoorna Hegde is a master data scientist with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Before co-founding Bloom Value, Sampoorna worked with industry giants IBM, Microsoft, iTreya, and Net-kraft, among others. She began her career as a Software Engineer and advanced to Executive Project Manager, where she managed large and complex projects. Sampoorna eventually broadened her skill base by becoming a data scientist. She holds a US patent for her innovative technology solutions and firmly believes that "Technology can transform lives."

She holds a Computer Science degree and, while working, earned additional bachelor's degrees in naturopathy and computer applications (BCA), as well as an MBA and an Executive post-graduate diploma in management with a focus on Business Analytics. Her philosophy is that "learning is a continuous journey."

Sampoorna has been an athlete since childhood and became an International Throwball competitor in 2009. She has won 15 gold medals for India, leading the Indian Throwball team as captain. Sampoorna is also on the Board of Directors of the International Throwball Federation.
